Welcome to Harrow Cycle Hub!

We’re a registered charity founded in 2021 to get more people cycling in Harrow. We run courses and activities at the former Harrow Civic Centre, and plan to build a new Cycling Centre for the whole of Harrow.

Children’s Events Coming Up

On Saturday 26 October the Hub and Harrow Cyclists have organised a FREE Diwali-themed children’s event at Harrow Civic Centre, 5-6pm. Come along! Music, games, secondhand bike sales, food and more. Adapted cycles for children with special needs. Just sign up!

On Saturday 30 November there’s a FREE marshalled ride for kids from the Civic Centre to Harrow Recreation Ground and back. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Just sign up!

Want to Learn to Ride?

Harrow Cycle Hub has friendly cycling classes for teenagers and adults, taught by qualified volunteer coaches at Harrow Civic Centre. No bike? No problem! Bike hire is available.

Former student Anna Ananth says: ‘I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Harrow Cycle Hub for teaching me to ride a bike and putting on so many interesting and varied rides. Today I completed 50 rides!’

Annual General Meeting

Members and supporters were inspired to hear Hayley Simmonds (in green, with coaches Penny, Saba and Katherine), twice national Time Trials Champion and European and Commonwealth Games bronze medallist, speak at our 24 March AGM. Trustees elected were Kunle Babalola, Veronica Chamberlain, Karl Howe, Farah Juma, Delani Nanthathayalan, Paul Osborn, John Rome, Kavita Tailor and Akinetoye Williams. Thank you to accountants Cooper Dawn Jerrom for being our Independent Examiners. Here are our 2023 Annual Accounts. Read AGM papers here.

Wheels for All

Do you know someone who would like to cycle, but finds two-wheelers too hard? Wheels for All, using adapted cycles like trikes and hand cycles, could be the answer. We offer friendly sessions on Tuesday and Saturday mornings for just £5, at Harrow Civic Centre, supported by trained volunteers. Contact our WFA Coordinator Maryanne for details.
